CAMBRIDGE — Vermont State Police say yet another tractor-trailer became stuck on Route 108, the narrow, winding mountain pass through Smugglers’ Notch.

Police said Thursday evening that the road was closed while crews worked to clear it.

The news came the day after another tractor-trailer got stuck, forcing the closure of the road Wednesday.

Police are reminding drivers to heed all signs regarding roadways.

Authorities say tractor-trailers and other large vehicles are not allowed through Smugglers’ Notch and tie up emergency services for long periods when they get stuck.
