• Police: License was suspended

    EAST MONTPELIER — Vermont State Police say a Barre man has been cited for driving with a suspended license.

    Stanley Baumgardner, 24, was driving on Route 2 in East Montpelier on Tuesday when he was pulled over by state police. After their investigation, state police said it was discovered that Baumgardner had a criminally suspended license.

    He is scheduled to appear in Washington County criminal court Sept. 4 to answer the charge.
