Suspect in killing
charged from prison
ST. JOHNSBURY — One of the Vermont men charged with killing a Sheffield woman is facing charges he tried to contact his ex-girlfriend from prison.
Twenty-three-year-old Michael Norrie pleaded not guilty Monday to charges he made three telephone calls from prison to his ex-girlfriend in violation of a court order.
The Caledonian Record reported that court documents say Norrie called his ex-girlfriend on April 27. Police say the woman did not accept the calls.
Norrie is charged with first-degree murder and other offenses stemming from the September 2010 abduction and killing of 78-year-old Pat O’Hagan of Sheffield. Two of Norrie’s cousins have pleaded not guilty to the same charges.MORE IN Vermont NewsHigh school students from all over the state will once again have the chance to be involved in an... Full Story
