• Barre Town police log: Vandalism, theft, people with guns reported

    The following is a sampling of calls to Barre Town police in recent days.



    May 28

    There was an animal problem on Carnes Road.

    A vehicle was pulled over on East Cobble Hill Road for not having a rear temporary plate.

    An uninspected vehicle was pulled over on Camp Street.

    There was an animal problem on Beede Circle.



    May 29

    A one-vehicle crash occurred somewhere in town around 8:15 a.m. No injuries were reported.

    On Middle Road, a custody dispute occurred.

    A vehicle was pulled over on South Barre Road for having defective equipment.



    May 30

    Citizens got into a dispute somewhere in town.

    Suspicious people with guns were reported on the bike path off Cogswell Street.

    A vehicle was pulled over for defective equipment on South Barre Road.



    May 31

    A driver was pulled over on Hill Street for running a stop sign.

    There was an animal problem on Route 14.

    A citizen dispute was reported on Middle Road.



    June 1

    A mans vehicles were vandalized somewhere in town.

    On Scenic View Drive, a theft was reported.

    Someone displayed threatening behavior on Nuissl Road.



    June 2

    A theft was reported somewhere in town.

    There was a domestic dispute on Silver Circle.



    June 3

    Animal problems were reported on Reservoir Road and Websterville Road.

    On South Barre Road, a juvenile male was not behaving safely.

    A vehicle passed a school bus that had its lights flashing somewhere in town.
