• Driver cited on license charge

    WASHINGTON Vermont State Police say a Washington man has been cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

    Michael Welch, 28, was driving on Route 110 in Washington on Thursday when he was pulled over by state police. After an investigation, state police say they discovered Welch had a criminally suspended license.

    He is scheduled to appear in Orange County criminal court May 28 to answer the charge.
