    Barbara J. Goulette Beede

    BERLIN Barbara Jean Goulette Beede, 84, of Berlin, Vt., passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Central Vermont Medical Center surrounded by her family.

    She was born in Orange, Vt., June 7, 1929, to the late William and Margaret Barnes Goulette. On June 20, 1947, she married Clifford Ralph Beede, of Orange, Vt., where they had six children. They owned and operated Orange Junction Country Store in Orange.

    In 1975, they moved to Florida, where she worked for Sears and retired at age 70. In 2000, she relocated to Lynchburg, Va., to be near grandchildren. In 2010 she moved back to Vermont, where she enjoyed the rest of her days.

    She enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting, cooking and spending time with family. She was an animal lover and especially loved her cat Ipswitch.

    Barbara is survived by four of her six children and spouses, Raymond Beede, of Altamonte Springs, Fla., Francis and Marcy Beede, of Washington, Vt., Greg Beede, of Lynchburg, Va., and David and Jill Beede, of Winter Springs, Fla.

    She is also survived by grandchildren Monique Rouleau, of Burlington, Vt., Melissa Rouleau, of Burlington, Vt., Adam Beede, of Washington, Vt., Madison Beede, of Lynchburg, Va., and Alex Beede, of Lynchburg, Va.

    Also are six great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews; her siblings, Margaret Richardson, of Orange, Vt., Vivian Butler, of Berlin, Vt., William Goulette, of Orange, Vt., Stephen Goulette, of Barre, Vt., and Thomas and Janet Goulette, of Tilton, N.H.
