RANDOLPH — Green Mountain Power says service will be interrupted in the Randolph-Roxbury area for about two hours this morning.

The utility said in a news release the outage will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Green Mountain Power said the outage is necessary to provide safe working conditions for crews to make emergency repairs to equipment providing service to the Randolph area.

The outage will affect customers along the Route 12 corridor in Randolph, Braintree, Brookfield and part of Roxbury.

The outage will take place regardless of weather conditions, according to Green Mountain Power.
