JEFFERSONVILLE — A group of Vermont Catholics concerned about the current state of their church have launched a website.

Concerned Catholics of Vermont describes itself as a small, informal organization of currently practicing and former Catholics who seek to foster the spirit of Vatican II. Members come from across Vermont and have been meeting throughout the past year. The website’s address is www.gmcatholics.org.

In a news release, the group said it has begun to explore convening a Vermont Catholic Community Forum that would allow practicing and former Catholics, conservative and progressive, who have concerns about the present state and future direction of the diocese to have a voice.
