SOUTH BURLINGTON — Vermont police say they do not suspect foul play in the death of a man found outside his car at a South Burlington car wash.

Police say a 48-year-old South Burlington resident was found dead inside an enclosed bay of the Seaway Car Wash early Saturday morning.

The Burlington Free Press reports that police are not releasing the man’s name until they notify his family, who may be traveling out of state.

South Burlington police say a car wash employee discovered the body alongside a car that was still running.

Police are awaiting autopsy results to pinpoint the cause of death.
