    Sally A. Delphia Rites

    BARRE — Life celebration and service of remembrance for Sally Anne Delphia, of White Street, was held Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre. She died Jan. 21, 2013, at the Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin.

    The Rev. Leopold Bilodeau, pastor of St. Monica Catholic Church, led the service. He read the Gospel lesson and was the homilist. The congregation sang the hymns “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art.”

    Daughter-in-law Mary Beth Delphia and niece Linda Roohr read from the Old and New Testaments, and words of remembrance were offered by daughter Patty Tyler, which were read by friend Jessica Corliss and Mary Beth Delphia.

    Interment was made in the Berlin Corner Cemetery.

    Friendship and luncheon followed at the Ladder 1 Grill.
