Theodore B. Pecor Jr. Rites
BARRE — A funeral service and celebration of life for Theodore B. Pecor Jr., 61, of Lindbergh Avenue, was held Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home in Barre. He passed away on Aug. 3, 2013, at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.
The Rev. Albert Collins Jr. of the United Presbyterian Church of Topsham, Vt., officiated the service. He also read a poem, “Why He Came.”
Words of remembrance were shared by members of the congregation.
Prerecorded hymns were “Amazing Grace,” “How Great Thou Art” and “Morning Has Broken.” Debbie Pecor, sister-in-law, sang “Go Rest High On the Mountain.”
Burial followed the service at Hope Cemetery in Barre, where the Rev. Collins Jr. offered committal prayers.
Following the burial, family and friends gathered at the Canadian Club in Barre for a time of fellowship and refreshments.
