• Vt police, US forest rangers find missing man

    GOSHEN — Searchers from the Vermont State Police and the U.S. Forest Service say a 26-year-old Pittsford man is safe after spending a night in the woods.

    Police were called to the Moosalamoo Campground in Goshen on Friday to assist U.S. Forest Service officers after they had received a report that Nathan Shaw was missing. Shaw was last seen Thursday evening.

    Members of the U.S. Forest Service, Vermont State Police, the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife and Brandon Rescue searched the area.

    Shaw was found in the woods at the campground at about 2 p.m. Friday.
