     | June 19,2013

MORETOWN — The town has applied for a disaster recovery grant.

Moretown is seeking $865,286 in a Vermont Community Development Program disaster recovery implementation grant to rebuild its town office after flooding from Tropical Storm Irene in 2011.

The town says it expects that the committee with the development program that considers applications will meet in mid-July to discuss Moretown’s application.
