    Support Bill Wolfe

I would like to express my support in re-electing Bill Wolfe for the Barre Town Select Board in the upcoming Tuesday annual election of officers.

As a member of both the 2012 and 2013 Barre Town Budget Committees, Iíve had the pleasure of working closely with Bill. His multiple years of service as the vice chairman of the Barre Town Select Board clearly demonstrated his knowledge and experience in these meetings. He expressed a strong ability to make informed rational decisions on the operational and financial issues impacting the town of Barre. Billís past experience serving on the Barre Town Select Board provides him with a strong foundation to continue serving in this capacity. However, he also brings multiple years of service in the public sector, as both a Barre Town police officer and in his current role, as chief of police for the town of Berlin. These years of experience have further developed his strong background in dealing with the issues applicable to town government.

In my opinion, Bill is a terrific example of a community-minded person who appreciates Barre Townís high quality services provided by hardworking, dedicated employees and volunteers. Bill will use his insight and experience to increase efficiencies, yet not sacrifice programs that make Barre Town such a desirable place to live.
