NORTHFIELD — Drivers should expect to see roadwork on Route 12 starting Monday.

Pike Industries, which won the contract from the state, will be paving, making guardrail improvements, and installing new signs, pavement markings and handicap sidewalk approaches from Village Pizza to Cumberland Farms.

The Vermont Agency of Transportation said in a news release that motorists may experience traffic delays in and around the project. Traffic control personnel will be present to maintain traffic flow.
