MIDDLESEX — Vermont State Police say an Island Pond man was driving on Interstate 89 without a valid license.

Jakob Morrison, 23, was southbound when state police say they observed him going 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. State police say Morrison was pulled over and was found to have a criminally suspended license and five civil convictions for driving with a suspended license.

Morrison was cited and is to appear in Washington County criminal court June 13 to answer the charge.
