• Waterbury spending is a pipe dream
    April 09,2013

Has the Waterbury Select Board gone overboard? Now it’s roughly $9 million for a new town office building, in a flood plain closer to the river than the old building. They could have bought the Cloverdale farm for $2.3 Million, built a nice complex, including a dog park, and a playground for the children, for a lot less with never a worry about flooding. It’s time the select board stopped listening to the Governor and his pipe dream, and stop wasting taxpayer dollars.
