• Armed robber hits Berlin pharmacy

    BERLIN — Police are looking for information about an armed robbery reported at Harry’s Pharmacy on the Barre-Montpelier Road in Berlin on Thursday afternoon.

    Police say a male around 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a bright blue hooded sweatshirt, made off with an unspecified amount of narcotics shortly before 3 p.m. The suspect is described as in his late teens to early 20s, with blond hair.

    Police say the man fled in a dark “muscle-type car” heading west. They didn’t say anything about the weapon involved.

    Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Kyle Kapitanski at the Berlin Police Department at 229-9191.
