MONTPELIER — The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department continues to hold public hearings on the deer hunting season and its deer management plan.

Department officials are sharing with the public last year’s hunting results and the prospects for the 2013 season. The department’s also seeking input from hunters about the state’s comprehensive deer management review plan.

The next hearings are scheduled for Wednesday at the Statehouse in Montpelier and Thursday at the St. Albans Town Educational Center. The hearings will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Two more meetings are planned in May in the northeast and southwest parts of the state.
