WESTMINSTER — A Vermont children’s choir is competing on a Public Television series.

The Kurn Hattin Homes is located in Westminter. Its Children’s Select Choir was scheduled to be featured Saturday night on the season premiere of the WGBY Public Television series “Together In Song.”

The children from Kurn Hattin Homes are competing with 37 other nonprofessional childrens’ and adults’ choruses from western New England in 10 age and musical genre categories.

Based on judges’ scores and audience votes, the Kurn Hattin choir can advance to the series finals in Springfield, Mass., on April 28.

The Kurn Hattin Homes provides a safe home and quality education for at risk boys and girls, ages 6-15.
