    Police probe daytime burglary

    WILLIAMSTOWN — State police are investigating the daytime burglary of a home on Amanicki Trail that was reported last week.

    According to police, the burglary was reported Wednesday, March 6, and is believed to have occurred between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. that day.

    Police did not identify the victim in the news release they issued Thursday, but indicated several items, including cash and jewelry, were reported stolen.

    Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Trooper Amber Haag at the state police barracks in Middlesex, 229-9191, or Central Vermont Crime Stoppers, 476-9999.
