    Man cited on sex assault charge

    MARSHFIELD — Vermont State Police say a Barre man sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl in Marshfield last year.

    Jonathan Amell, 20, was cited on a charge of sexual assault and is to appear in Washington County criminal court Thursday.

    State police said the girl was at Amell’s residence in Marshfield in March 2012 when the alleged assault took place.
