WILLIAMSTOWN — Vermont State Police are looking for information about an alleged burglary at the Loyal Order of Moose in Williamstown on Sunday.

Police said they received notice of an alarm activation for the building on Business Center Road. While responding, they received a second alarm for the building.

No one was found in the building, police said, but someone had entered it by breaking a window. A state police search dog was used to track footprints leading from the building, but the dog lost the trail when the prints were traced to a set of tire tracks.

State police did not say what, if anything, was taken from the building.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Sgt. Ray LeBlanc at the Middlesex barracks at 229-9191.
