BRIGHTON — Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of a 300-pound bull calf from a farm in Brighton.
Police say there have been a number of cattle thefts in the region and investigators have a number of suspects.
In the most recent case, the calf was stolen from the farm of Douglas and Marilyn Maxwell on Route 114 between Tuesday and Thursday of last week.
A vehicle was seen in the area around midnight last Tuesday.
