Grow Your Business Over-Easy in 2013 will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 25 at Castleton State College. The all-day business conference will provide a venue for entrepreneurs in start-ups and expanding businesses to learn how to grow their company.
Experts will provide hands-on instruction on how to succeed in business. Participants will have access to individuals who are prepared to “go deep” to assist businesses in finding solutions to specific problems and challenges.
Regardless of the industry, there are consistent challenges for both startups and growing entrepreneurial businesses. This day will provide information that every business owner, corporate leader and entrepreneur needs to know.
Business leaders will share advice, personal practical stories and knowledge that will be invaluable for the next generation of business leaders and young entrepreneurs.
The forum is designed to share experiences in the high tech, specialty foods/agriculture and energy fields.
The keynote speaker will be either Gov. Peter Shumlin or Rutland Mayor Christopher Louras. Speakers will include Mary Powell, president and CEO, Green Mountain Power; Cairn Cross, co-founder, Fresh Tracks Capital; Jim Harrison, president, Vermont Grocers Association; Vince Galluccio, founder, Vermont Farmstead Cheese Co.; Whitney Lamy, founder, Castleton Crackers; Matt Dunne, head of community affairs, Google; Don Mayer, co-owner, Small Dog Electronics; Brian Grady, business leader, GE Aviation, Rutland; Thomas Donahue, executive vice president, Rutland Region Chamber of Commerce; Jamie Stewart, executive director, Rutland Economic Development Authority.
