Please respect life
My father died of a heart attack at 62. My family would have given anything to have my father with us for these last 20 years, even if it meant caring for him in sickness as my parents grew old together. I also witnessed my mother-in-law wither away from cancer all the while offering her suffering up for other people who she said needed prayers more than her.
Only God knows when it’s your time to leave this earth. Today we live in a world where we think we need to control everything, even life and death. I am ashamed that our Legislature has seen it their duty to decide this issue for us. Do you have any idea what a Pandora’s box this has opened? One Holocaust in our lifetime was one too many. Please respect life from birth to natural death.
