MONTPELIER — Tour guides are needed at the Vermont History Museum and the Statehouse.

The Vermont Historical Society and the Statehouse are offering an information session Feb. 21 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at 109 State St. in Montpelier. Guides will be available at the meeting to answer questions.

Tour guides help students learn about Vermont history and government at the museum and Statehouse. No experience is necessary.

For more information, call Victoria Hughes at 828-1413 or Vivien Fritz at 828-1411.

The Vermont Historical Society is a nonprofit organization that operates the Vermont History Museum in Montpelier, the Leahy Library and new Vermont Heritage Galleries in Barre, and programming throughout the state.

Established in 1838, the society seeks to reach a broad audience through outstanding collections and statewide outreach. The society’s website is www.vermonthistory.org.
