Clear off your vehicle

Many local drivers seem to be in contention for the infamous Darwin Awards lately. All those who drive off without clearing their windows of snow are almost assured of being honored.

One little known rule of the awards, however, stipulates that if you harm another person—like me, a frequent pedestrian—in the process of competing, you will automatically be disqualified.

Seriously folks, don’t each of us really always have two to three minutes to clear the snow from our car windows (and roof) given that the alternative could well be a serious accident?
