MONTPELIER — A man exposed himself Tuesday at a soup kitchen at Bethany Church, according to police.

Matthew P. Bray, 32, was arrested by Montpelier police on a charge of lewd and lascivious conduct and issued a no-trespass order.

He is to answer the charge March 7 in court.

Bray’s address was listed as Brookline, Mass., in the Boston area, but Montpelier Sgt. Neil Martel described him as a traveler who uses websites like couchsurfing.org.
