Vt. contractor plans expansion, solar project
VERNON — A Vermont construction company is planning a 6,000-square-foot solar project and an expansion of its metal-fabrication business.
Renaud Brothers in Vernon makes structural steel.
Plans call for a 75-kilowatt solar-power project to be done by March. The panels would be tied to the electrical grid.
The company has received a certificate of public good for the solar project from the Vermont Public Service Board.
Regarding the other project, plans call for a 3,000-square-foot addition to a 5,000-square-foot building. That will allow steel storage and prefabrication to take place under roof.MORE IN This Just InDAMASCUS, Va. Full StoryCSC held its commencement ceremony Saturday. Full StoryNike has its Swoosh.
