• Car break-ins are reported in Plainfield

    PLAINFIELD — Vermont State Police are looking for information about several car break-ins in Plainfield early Monday morning.

    State police say at least two individuals entered various vehicles between midnight and 6 a.m. Monday around School Street in Plainfield.

    State police also have several other complaints about items taken from vehicles as well as vehicles damaged around both Plainfield and East Montpelier.

    Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to contact the state police Middlesex barracks at 229-9191.
