Ingrid M. Kennedy Rites

GRANITEVILLE — The funeral service for Ingrid M. Kennedy, 74, was held Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre. She died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.

Pastor Laura Cadmus led the service.

A scripture reading was given by friend Charlene McCarney, who also read “Memories of My Second Mom” written by Jennifer Beck. Words of remembrance were offered by friends Cathy McElroy and Tim Bashaw.

After the service, family and friends shared stories and remembrances.

Entombment took place in the Hooker and Whitcomb vault, to await later burial in the Highland Cemetery in Chelsea.
