    William H. Provencher Rites

    BARRE — The memorial and prayer service for William H. Provencher, 66, formerly of North Main Street, was held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre. He passed away at the home of his daughter in Brattleboro on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012.

    The Rev. Leopold Bilodeau, pastor of St. Monica Catholic Church in Barre, led the service.

    Words of reflection were offered by Bill’s brother, Philip Provencher.

    Nephew James MacAuley read the poem “No Vermonters In Heaven.”

    Mark Provencher, nephew, played the guitar and sang “I Did It My Way.”
