The following is a sampling of incidents as initially reported to Montpelier police dispatchers.
People were setting off fireworks at the corner of Terrace Street and Bailey Avenue around 12:20 a.m.
Keys were found in a snowbank on Main Street.
A wheel was in the middle of Berlin Street.
A vehicle alarm was sounding for the past 15 minutes, shortly after 3 a.m., near Barre and Granite streets.
There was no cashier in Simon’s Store and Deli.
An upstairs neighbor at 15 Vine St. was screaming and hollering.
A man swore then threw snow at a woman at the Hunger Mountain Co-op. Police said the woman stole his parking spot, and throwing snow is not a chargeable offense unless an injury occurs.
A dog was barking for an hour during the evening near Elm and Cummings streets.
A person had no heat in his Main Street apartment.
A stop sign at the corner of College Street and Woodrow Avenue was paintballed and had a sticker on it.
A homeless person was on church property at St. Augustine Parish.
A caller described a sister stealing a dog seven years ago.
A person was receiving harassing phone calls from an ex-girlfriend.
A woman in a Baldwin Street apartment was yelling and screaming again.
A man wearing a black jacket and white pants looked suspicious as he was walking near the corner of Memorial Drive and Dog River Road around 3:28 a.m.
Police also issued a citation Friday to Ashley A.
