    Vianor Tire & Auto

    settles ADA case

MONTPELIER — The U.S. attorney’s office resolved a complaint last week alleging that Vianor Tire & Auto Service in Montpelier was not in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The complaint alleged the business had no designated accessible parking spaces and inadequate signs. The ADA requires certain facilities to make accommodations for those with disabilities and to reduce barriers.

The U.S. attorney’s office closed its investigation last week after confirming that the business had undertaken measures to remedy the alleged deficiencies.
