RICHMOND — A Waitsfield man was involved in a four-car accident on Interstate 89 Wednesday morning, according to state police.
Stephen M. Haskell, 41, was northbound when two vehicles collided in front of him and he could not avoid crashing into them, nor could a driver behind him avoid his vehicle, police said.
State police say Alexander M. Bown, 23, of Burlington, pulled into the left lane without yielding to Donna L. Wright, 49, of Randolph Center, who was in that lane. The two collided, and Wright’s vehicle hit the guardrail, spun 180 degrees and sat in the middle of the road.
State police said Christina D. Biesadecki, 26, of Jericho, hit the back of Haskell’s vehicle after he struck the others.
Police said no one was hurt. Bown’s and Biesadecki’s vehicles sustained minor damage, and Haskell’s and Wright’s had moderate damage.
Police said the investigation of the crash continues, with legal action pending.MORE IN This Just InMONTPELIER — An investigation has concluded that a Vermont state trooper was justified in...
