Montpelier man cited on drug charge

BERLIN — Police say they have cited a Montpelier man for possession of a regulated drug.

John P. Leach, 28, is to be in Washington County criminal court in mid-February to answer the charge.

Police say they discovered the drug in Leach’s vehicle after a routine traffic stop and were given consent to search the vehicle Dec. 21.
