Montpelier police log: Vandalism leaves damage at cemeteryDecember 11,2012
The following is a sampling of calls Montpelier police responded to in recent days.
Dec. 4
A portion of the lawn at Green Mount Cemetery on State Street was vandalized.
An ATM card was found from the previous day at Cumberland Farms gas station.
A person looked in a garage with a flashlight around 5 p.m. at 247 Berlin St., then ran off.
A two-car accident occurred around 5:45 p.m. at 265 River St. involving Roxbury resident Carrie L. Helfant and Orange resident James A. Aseltine and resulting in no injuries.
Dec. 7
A rear door alarm sounded at around 4:35 a.m. at the Three Penny Taproom.
A downstairs neighbor at 155 Main St. had a loud fan running again.
Dec. 8
A person at the Montpelier Pharmacy became agitated.
Dec. 9
A man was walking around on First Avenue at 2:57 a.m.
Help was needed on Fisher Road getting back into a residence.
A person in an apartment on Mechanic Street was screaming and throwing items. -
