The following is a sampling of calls Waterbury police responded to in recent days.

    Dec. 4

Police visited the NAPA Auto Parts store looking for Stephen W. Ford II, 30, who works there. Ford is wanted by Barre police for allegedly crashing a vehicle and fleeing the scene, but he had not been found as of Monday.

A 9-year-old boy reportedly threw a 9-year-old girl to the ground as she was getting on a school bus. The police chief said the school should handle the follow-up, but he offered to talk with the boy if needed.

Cory A. Miner, who police said confessed to shooting an ATM and other Merchants Bank property earlier this year, allegedly fired a pistol around 10:18 p.m. at Dac Rowe fields, prompting three 911 calls.

    Dec. 5

Someone may have been in and out of a house at 35 N. Main St. during the past few nights, although it has been abandoned since Tropical Storm Irene.

    Dec. 6

A vehicle backed into a Nissan Versa parked on Stowe Street near the elementary school around 7:55 a.m., causing significant damage, then left.
