ORANGE — Vermont State Police say a woman stabbed a man with a stick and sprayed him with a fire extinguisher after an argument in Orange on Wednesday night.

Sandra Boutin, 49, was cited on a charge of domestic assault. She was to appear in Orange County criminal court Thursday to answer the charge.

State police say they responded to a reported domestic assault on Smith Road and found that Boutin had an argument with the man that turned physical when Boutin attacked him.
