Speaker is off-base
If Shapleigh Smith Jr. wants to investigate pot use by young people around Vermont he should hit the bricks. The speaker of the House has recently said he is concerned that if pot is decriminalized kids will get access to it.
What does he think is going on right now? Dealers of pot will sell to anyone with money. If pot is regulated it can be sold to people over 21 just like booze. Then these kids that Smith is worried about will not be allowed to buy it.
Come down off your throne, Smith, and go see for yourself.
