JOHNSON — Former Gov. Jim Douglas will attend a discussion and screening of Vermont Public Television’s series “The Governors” at Johnson State College on Dec. 3.

The screening will show interviews with Douglas and former Gov. Howard Dean offering behind-the-scenes accounts of the issues and decisions made during their tenures.

A discussion will also be held with Douglas and Johnson State College professor William Doyle, who also represents Washington County in the state Senate.

The event will be held in the Ellsworth rooms of the Willey Library and Learning Center from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

The screening and discussion are among a series of weekly presentations by Vermont political figures as part of Doyle’s fall course on Vermont politics. The event is free and open to the public, with parking available in any campus lot. For more information, contact Doyle at 635-1349.
