• Got work? Jobs and trades fair comes to Norwich University

    NORTHFIELD — A trade and job fair is set for this Friday, Nov. 16, at Norwich University .

    The fair is a collaboration between the university and Northfield High School, and will be held in the Plumley Armory.

    Some of the businesses that will attend are IBM, Hypertherm, General Electric, the Vermont Agency of Transportation, and various employers looking for workers in the trades, like welders, plumbers and electricians.

    The fair will be open to high school students from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and to the rest of the public from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
