We must not settle

In spite of the election results and possible further fiscal calamity on Jan. 1, 2013, Republican leaders still are adhering to their refusal to tax the wealthy. If you, Democrat, Republican, independent voters, agree that we all need to do our fair share to help solve our country’s serious financial problems, contact U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell and U.S. Rep. John Boehner.

Let them know that a tax increase for those with incomes of $250,000 and up will put everyone in the same boat and help our country.

Maybe our Republican leaders need volume to understand how important it is for them to change their stance on this issue. Please spread this message and do it soon because we don’t have much time.
