A simple irony
While we barely missed getting the worst government money can buy because, it turns out, voters are smarter than the plutocrats, ad men Karl Rove and Grover Norquist, think we are, here is an irony to ponder:
Gazillionaires such as the Koch brothers, Sheldon Adelson, and Vermont’s own Lenore Broughton would pay less taxes under a system in which the wealthiest pay taxes at the same rate than the rest of us, than they spent in trying to prevent that from happening.
Furthermore, none of those contributions to super PACs are tax deductible.
