HINESBURG — Just in time for its 250th anniversary, the Vermont community of Hinesburg has chosen a new logo showing hills, valleys and streams.

The Burlington Free Press reported that more than 300 residents and others with ties to the town voted for their favorite design.

The Select Board chose the logo, which says “1762 — 250 Years of Community.” The town is celebrating its 250th anniversary this summer.
