BURLINGTON — A Vermont man is accused of driving a stolen convertible more than 100 mph on the city’s Beltline and leading police on a brief chase.
Police say they started pursing the speeding car on Route 127, also called the Beltline, on Saturday night around 8 p.m.
Lt. Emmet Helrich says the driver tried to elude police and then abandoned the car and a female passenger.
