Strawberry Supper Friday at Waterbury Congregational Church

It's that time of year.
For more than 30 years, the Waterbury Congregational Church has offered a delicious buffet topped off by incredible strawberry shortcake.
This year's dinner will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. The price is $8 ($5 for children 12 and under), and includes a full buffet meal and strawberry shortcake. "Just dessert" is $4, and take-out will be available.
Strawberry shortcake will also be served at Friday evening's Rotary concert at Rusty Parker Park.
The event is a fundraiser for the Church's Stewardship Committee, which is responsible for maintaining the traditionally-styled building, completed in 1825. Church members will pick thousands of strawberries (over 100 quarts), and dozens of volunteers help to prepare, serve, and clean up after the meal.
