CALAIS — A Calais man was cited on a charge of domestic abuse after a family fight on Jack Hill Road, police said.

Frank H. Sterling Jr., 57, was arrested by Vermont State Police on Thursday night after they investigated a call regarding a family fight where Sterling had allegedly gotten into an argument with an 18-year-old woman and her boyfriend.

Sterling is accused of pulling the woman’s hair and grabbing her by the neck.

He is scheduled to appear in Barre criminal court Friday to answer to the charge.
