WAITSFIELD — Police broke up an underage drinking party in a condo on Main Street in Waitsfield early Saturday morning, citing eight people, all of them 18 or older, for drinking alcohol. All eight individuals were issued forms to participate in the Washington County Diversion Board’s Teen Alcohol Safety Program (TASP).

Those who fail to comply with the Teen Alcohol Safety Program are subject to a civil violation of a $300 fine and a 90 day license suspension.
